Best Plot

My favorite movie is cyberbully its an original movie from abc. It's a movie about a girl who was bullied on social media by someone she called her friend. The best plot in this movie is when karma started doing its job and everything started to turn around on the so called friend. She thought she was going to get away with it and ruin her friend life all because she was jealous, but it didn't work she got caught and everything started going downhill for her.

Favorite TV show setting

My favorite tv show is Bring it. It is a dance show, the setting of this is in the dance studio, colleges, and gyms. Each show they practice in a dance studio to prepare for a competition that will take place at either a college or a gym. The settings help the show because you can't dance because when you think about dancing you think about dance studios and dance competitions.  

Song and Irony in poem

The cosmic irony in "next to of course god america i" is that what the speaker thinks and what Cumming means is totally different. In the song Work by Rihanna, she says " work work work work work" but she doesn't actually mean go to a job and work she means to move your body and dance.

Song and Poem

The song Sweet Dream by Beyonce compares to the poem "Acquainted with the Night" because both the poem and the song has to do with the "night". "It could be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare" Beyonce seem to know that at night when you're asleep you can either have a good dream or a horrible nightmare. "I have been one acquainted with the night" the speaker in this poem seems to know the night and what happens during the night. 

Image Meanings

Images can mean many things simply because people do not always look at things the same. We all interpret things differently. Some may agree with others and some may disagree because no one think exactly the same way. Images can relate to someone past while someone can look at the image and relate it to their future. "Cold, wet leaves floating on moss-colored water,".(848) This poem create the image of fall on a raining day at night at a pond or a lake. "You are my rock baby your the truth you are my rock your everything I need" these Beyonce lyrics give me the image of being in love and having someone who is always there and give you the strength to be a better person. 

Mythological elements in my life

I don't really think that any mythological elements occur in my life. I don't really pay attention to things like that. I'm not as observant as I should be because research shows that mythological elements happen in everyday life. I do not recognize mythology when I come in contact with it. When kids ask for a bowl of cereal in the morning they are asking for a grain product so named because Ceres was the goddess of grain.

Mythological Elements

Mythological elements is a legendary or a traditional story that usually concerns an event or a hero, with or without using factual or real explanations. In the poem "The Death of the Ball Turret Gunner" it has the mythological elements of birth to death. "When I died they washed me out of turret with a hose".

My verse will be inspiring other women to stop trying to always be in competition. Always trying to tear one another down and to help and be there for one another. To wear a crown and to be looked at as a queen. To stop hating and to support. 

Theme of my favorite song lyrics

My favorite song is pretty hurts by Beyonce. This song is very powerful to me because there is too much pressure on women to be beautiful. The theme of this song to me is physical beauty and happiness in life. 

Theme of my life

The theme of my life is laying around doing nothing isn't going to get me anywhere. Work hard, strive, and never give up. Everything I am doing now will pay off in the long run. This is just the beginning there is no telling what god has in store for me. 

Theme of my favorite movie

My favorite movie is mean girls 2. The main theme of this movie is basically girls thinking very highly of themselves and looking down on others. Another main theme is trying to fit in and try to be something or someone you are not. You can say the overall theme is meanness does not pay.

Briana Roberts: Briana always carries around a purse because it symbolizes the person she is and the type of personality she has. In her purse, she always carries a comb because her hair has to be on fleek at all times.

Chandre : Chandre always wear nike because it symbolizes the type of person he is. Nike makes a lot of athletic clothes for athletes. And Chandre is an athlete so he is alway in Nike. 

My Gold Chain

I wear a gold chain around my neck that was given to me by my boyfriend. I wear it because its special to me. When he isn't around I still have something of his that makes me feel his presence. The chain is always around my neck I don't take it off cause then I would start feeling like something is missing.

Chandre : I agree with Chandre and how he explains how the plot had an influence on the setting. I also agree with how he explains how Dina had such high hopes for Tokyo, and nothing happened the way she thought it would happen. 

Israel : I agree with Israel the author had to have some type of fascination with Tokyo by making it the main plot of the story. She expresses her love for Tokyo through her main character Dina.  

Parker's Setting

The setting in the story "Geese" played a big role in Dina plan to move to Tokyo to make a lot of money. Dina's plan didn't go as planned it wasn't as easy as she thought it was going to be. Her plan did not go as she wanted it to. Since she had a job in the US she thought it would be better opportunities and easier to find a better job in Tokyo. But it was honestly hard for her because she was American. By her being so far away from home and not really having anyone was the reason she became a prostitute. The location was really the main cause so many men in Tokyo has a lot of interest in her cause she was different she was African American.

Life event

If I was ever to write a story or a poem depending on the topic I choose a life event could really affect it. When you go through something in life it is easier for you to write about it or to express your feelings about it vs if you never been through it. You really can't speak the truth on something you never been through or you can't write truthfully about a specific topic. You can only go so far with just thinking about or trying to connect with something you never been through in life. It would be easy for me to write a story about hurricane Katrina because that is a life event I went through and had to deal with. It wouldn't be easy for someone who didn't experience the hurricane to write about. It wouldn't have as many details to it or in it.

Author's Life of Doc 1

In Doc 1 the author of the story I used is Gail Godwin. Godwin is a woman she knows the wife duties and she knows how a wife well a woman should treat her husband and her child. By Godwin being a woman she knows sometimes things get rough and she also knows that women tend to always have a lot on their backs and some aren't as strong as others. By Godwin knowing these things she could easily switch it up and a happy wife into very tired miserable wife. 

Faulkner's Plot

When Faulkner did the plot for "A Rose for Emily" he did not use or put it in chronological order. Instead, he used the original way. He didn't want things to be so obvious and for his readers to know what's going to happen next. The plot was mainly about the struggle that Emily went through. When her father passed away she suffered badly and she had no one that could compare to her dad and how close they were. She lived her life like her against the world. The textbook says after her father passes away she became enlightened. With the plot that Faulker used it was a lot of twists and turns you really had to think to figure out what was going to happen next it didn't come to you immediately.  

A Rose for my grandma

It has been a year going on two since I lost my grandmother. I'm finally finding myself again and gaining my strength back. My grandmother was like my second mom she was always there for me and always lifted me up when I was down. When I lost my grandmother I didn't know where to turn or how to really deal with it cause I never lost someone so close to me. I know she's watching over me each and every day. She's gone but she will forever live on in my heart. 

My Favorite Movie

My favorite movie has to be "Flowers in the Attic". It is about a family who mother and father were actually relatives. The literal meaning has to be that it's a sin to date inside of the family, but love is love. The figurative meaning no matter what if it's love then it is bound to happen. To me the literal and figurative meaning is similar.
